- I turned 50 in 2008. Where did half a century go? It seems only yesterday I was graduating from high school and here I have a 17 year old daughter, Nicole, about to start her senior a senior in high school. Jerry and I will be married 20 years this November and we dated about 7 prior to that, so we've spent half our lives together. And, why Art On A Limb? I have been online for a very long time and have always had the nick, sparrow or sparrow9. I also do some graphic art. Hence, the name. I like it :-) There's much more, of course, but I guess I'll just share that in my posts.

I always told my girls that I would bribe them with things they should be doing for nothing but then at times I made them pay me to do something they wanted me to do for them.s

You should make it a weekly thing...as long as she keeps her room clean that week, she gets the cash!
How long will it last, if "it" is her room being clean, 5 minutes is the standard time. If "it" is accepting cash for chores, then it will last until she no longer needs the money. :)
