Nothing. Just Nothing.

I've got nothing.

I feel sleepy, but here I am at work. Miss Priss is playing sick again and I have to call the school.

This is getting out of hand and I have to surrender. Something, clearly, is (has) changed my kid. I think it's time to call in the "village."

Updates later if something new pops up.

There are days when I wish nothing would pop. Up or down.

our absolute best wishes for you and maybe a petite prayer for some inner (and outer!) strength--plus hopefully you will have a chance to sleep in this weekend?

OH ugh.... good for you for taking it to the village though.

Is she REALLY sick?? My mom would make my life boring as HECK when I would play sick... made school look pretty dang good.

oh I was the master at playing sick when I was a kid. :) I loved staying home because both of my parents worked and I had the house all to myself.

hope you have a great weekend!

I love to find blogs from woman close to me in age. And what I´ve seen so far is a good blog. So I have become your follower. I hope you don´t mind.

Thank you for your dear comment yesterday on my BATW day!

Thanks. I usually love writing the title to posts, but there really wasn't one that would fit.

Sorry to hear about your frusteration with Nicole. I wish I could give advice, but I was never like that. I'm sure (okay, I know) I was plently moody and had fits and such, but when it came to school, I was there, because I'm a nerd. Of course I don't know much about raising teenagers, either.

I would tell my daughter that we were going to the psychologist until we got to the bottom of this and then I gave her chores around the house. she finally said school was easier to deal with

I hated school so much. Very few positive memories of it. Could be because I went to 6 different schools from 7th thru 12th grades?? I played sick constantly. Luckily, I was smart and still managed decent grades. I sympathize with you, Lynda. I wish I had the answers for you on this one but I don't. But I can help with prayer, and that I WILL do!

Sounds like if she's gonna stay home, then you might want to have some REAL work for her to do around the house. I always started with cleaning the bathrooms, especially the toilets. That always cured my kids from their sick days! BTW, don't forget that we're starting a Great New Pop'rs Halloween Giveaway at my place today...22 different, fun prizes. Come play, today!

I say no TV, no phone, no iPod, no computer, no nuthin. If you're too sick to go to school, you just need to rest. Without all the distractions, you'll be better in no time! On a side note...do you think she's had another "falling out" with a friend or over a boy? I remember a few weeks back when that was the case.
