Lyrics

Two little songs that I really love,

April come she will
When streams are ripe and swelled with rain;
May, she will stay,
Resting in my arms again.

June, shell change her tune,
In restless walks shell prowl the night;
July, she will fly
And give no warning to her flight.

August, die she must,
The autumn winds blow chilly and cold;
September Ill remember
A love once new has now grown old.

And:

Well the sun is surely sinking down
But the moon is slowly rising
So this old world must still be spinning round
And I still love you

(chorus)
So close your eyes
You can close your eyes, its all right
I dont know no love songs
And I cant sing the blues anymore
But I can sing this song
And you can sing this song
When Im gone

It wont be long before another day
We gonna have a good time
And no ones gonna take that time away
You can stay as long as you like.

Simple and pretty...know who performs these?

The first is old, old, old Simon and Garfunkel. The other is slightly newer, but still '70s-ish, James Taylor. The reason I know this? Two of my faves, too! BTW, Great Pop'rs Giveaway over on my blog. Check it out!
